Ever since I was a kid, I have always enjoyed watching the Academy Awards every year on TV. When I got older, into my teens, I would create elaborate charts with my predictions for who would win each category, and I would furiously take notes during the awards ceremony about the most benign items: How long the commercial breaks were, who presented each award, and who won (of course). Yes, I was a nerdy-ass kid. I guess that’s what happens when you’re an only child; entertaining yourself is your priority every day.
This year, I decided to put my nerdy obsession into a shoot. Within a matter of a few days, this shoot was planned, executed and published on Burnett’s Boards. I asked a few of my favorite Denver wedding vendors to contribute to this shoot and everything came together so well, even though the shoot was rather last-minute.
