RECENT WORK
This misty and moody weather today has me thinking back to Ashleigh + Seth’s vow renewal last fall at Chautauqua and Lost Gulch that had the same vibe. It almost felt like we were in the Pacific Northwest somewhere, or in a book in the Twilight series (#TeamEdward all day) 🧛♂️
I’ve never seen Lost Gulch covered in fog like this! Imagine telling your clients, who are visiting from out of state, that you have this amaaaaaazing location with uninterrupted views of the foothills and you arrive to this 😂 ope!
Ashleigh + Seth were such good sports about the change of scenery. It was chilly and rainy but they both climbed up and down and around all those rocks at Lost Gulch (iykyk) after sharing a fresh round of vows to celebrate ten years of marriage.
But it was all worth it in the end! Their photos turned out unlike any other shoot I’ve ever done in Colorado — or anywhere, really. Truly a one-of-a-kind day!

I just sent off my final mini session gallery so it’s time for a little 2025 mini session recap ✨
These sessions are a huge part of my fall photo schedule every year. I’m so lucky to see so many of you each year for a new round of photos!
This year I photographed 30 mini sessions all over the metro area. The most popular locations were Chautauqua, Golden, and City Park. I’m thinking about adding a new option for next year as it’s very obvious y’all prefer a more natural, outdoor setting — so how about Hudson Gardens for 2026?! 🌺
It was so lovely seeing how everyone’s families have grown — and meeting new families, too. These are some of my favorite sessions to do and I’m so grateful for everyone who came through this fall!

I kicked off this year’s family photo season with this sweet trio. I worked with Amanda, Brent, and Asher last year for the first time and was so excited they came back this fall for a second family session with me. This is my favorite part of being a family photographer — seeing the little ones grow and change!
What I loved about this session:
✨ Asher’s outfits — I think we have a budding fashionista on our hands
✨ The soft sunset light at Chautauqua — this time of year (and heading into winter) has the best light and I will die on this hill
✨ The love this fam has for each other — always good vibes with these three!
I’m so excited to see more families in front of my camera as the fall season goes on. Thank you again to these three for joining me for another session!

Film scans are in and they are 🔥🔥🔥
Black + white film is truly unparalleled. I snagged this roll of @ilfordphoto HP5 Plus 400 35mm film last summer from @denverdigitalimagingcenter and it finally got its time to shine at this recent bridal session with @hannah.woodward!
I’m absolutely enamored with the softness of these scans, which is exactly what I was going for by choosing this roll of black + white film and by choosing this location for the session (y’all know I love this courthouse). I wanted that rich contrast black + white film can give you while keeping an ethereal quality alive at the same time. I’d say these scans definitely delivered!

Hey hi hello 👋
It’s been a hot minute since I showed my face around these parts! I recently had some headshots done with @jessicajophoto and wanted to share a few from our time at Union Station and do a little intro!
• As you probably guessed from these photos, I’m a certified bus bitch 🚌 which explains the emphasis on the commuter rail lines in the background! I sold my car in 2020 and haven’t looked back. I am a huge public transit proponent and you can find me a few times throughout the year mucking it up at a @ridertd or DOTI meeting.
• My favorite time of year is when the NBA season gets going 🏀 I am a huge @nuggets fan and have a quarter season ticket membership with my bestie Tim. Currently watching Nikola Jokić play in the @eurobasket tournament so I can get my fix before the season starts in October!
• This year I installed a bird feeder in my patio garden and it was a game-changer! Nothing makes me happier than seeing little swallows and finches come by for a snack throughout the day 🪶
• I am about to embark upon the busiest time of year for this side of my business: family photo season! I’m so excited to see familiar faces (and some new ones!) as the fall gets going. Otherwise, you can find me on my sister account @ashleykidderboudoir for the spicier side of my work 🌶️

Remember that City Park sunset I posted in my stories the other day?? 😍
These photos are 100% the reason why I love shooting here. I love the city + mountain view in the background. Pair that with a banger Colorado sunset and you’ve got hella magic ✨ A bonus this time of year is that the rose bushes are starting to come around!
This will definitely be one of my locations for mini sessions this fall. By then, the rose bushes will be in full bloom and I can’t wait to photograph y’all with them in the background.

So excited to share some of these dreamy photos from my session with @kat_perks + Jordan earlier this summer!
These two asked me to do a 10-year anniversary session with them up in Boulder, so of course we swung by Chautauqua and Lost Gulch (I promise I shoot elsewhere lol).
We started at Chautauqua where we had some post-rain buttery light peeking through the clouds. This is some of my favorite light to shoot in. It’s so smooth and rich and warm and just looks so damn good in the final photos.
Afterwards, we scooted up to Lost Gulch to finish the session on the rocks and in front of a pretty baller Colorado sunset. Couldn’t have asked for better light in both spots!
Thank you again to Kat + Jordan for having me along for another round of photos (I also photographed their Wash Park proposal)! I love seeing my clients back for new photo sessions as the years go on ✨
