Denver Courthouse Elopement Photographers

If you’ve been hanging around these parts for a while, you know how much I love shooting at this particular Denver courthouse.  I’m a huge fan of its beauty — striking colonnades, classic white marble, and a larger-than-life feeling in the middle of a bustling city.

So when my dear friend Teighler asked me to do photos for her elopement at the Byron White courthouse downtown, I was an immediate yes.  Especially knowing that she would bring a fun style and flair to her elopement outfit!

And that she did!  Along with her daughter, Madelyn, who also wore the cutest flower girl dress I’ve seen in a long time.  I love the light blue color contrasted against the neutrality of the courthouse in the background.

That’s not to forget about the groom, Brent, who wore a timeless black tux.  I’m a firm believer that grooms should wear tuxes to their celebrations.  Miss me with the boring ol’ suit (sorry not sorry).  Give me old Hollywood glam or give me death!

What you don’t see in these photos is an absolutely massive horde of teenagers posing for homecoming photos all over the front steps of the building.  We shot the third September of the month, which very much coincides with homecoming season for high school kids in the Denver metro area.  Fair warning — if you want to shoot here on a Saturday in September, you might have to compete with teens in their homecoming garb!  (I usually shoot here during the week so this was a bit of a surprise for me!)

Take a peek at my faves from this Denver courthouse elopement below.  Thank you for stopping by the blog!
