Couples in Denver are blessed to have the choice of both glamorous + gritty urban event spaces that vary from a famous clock tower, to classy rooftop hotel pool decks, to turn-of-the-century churches nestled in between + even under skyscrapers. One of my everlasting favorites of all the wedding venues in Denver is Blanc, which fits the industrial urban wedding vibe perfectly. For the past two summers, I’ve enjoyed shooting at this gorgeous location for Jolene Picone of Veil Trends, a local bridal-wear company that specializes in traditional bridal fashion as well as more fashion-forward, avant garde accessories.
Blanc is located in Denver’s River North Art District, known to many as RiNo. The site boasts multiple locations for all that a wedding day needs: indoor and outdoor ceremony options, cocktail hour space, and a clean color palette with whitewashed walls and exposed brick that’s ready for customization to any couple’s wedding day theme.
As a Denver wedding photographer, it is impossible to be uninspired when walking into Blanc. The outdoor area just behind the main building features a grove of trees that can be transformed into a lounge area for summer evening weddings, plus an industrial barn that moonlights as the perfect bar space for guests to grab your signature cocktail. Lush vines + flowers drape themselves around the red brick perimeter, and market lights can be added to complete the summer city wedding look.
For my latest collaboration with the team at Veil Trends, we shot with Eva Cavecchi, a signed model with the Donna Baldwin Agency. Eva is always one of my favorite models to photograph; she has the perfect couture energy with a hint of dramatic flair and a healthy helping of jaw-dropping beauty. Eva is the face of Veil Trends’ REVEL collection, which includes bridal cuffs, belts, capes, headwraps and fascinators.
