Chautauqua Park Family Photos

Every year, I see this cute little family for a quick, 15-minute mini-session.  We’ve done RiNo, Civic Center, City Park, and Bel Mar as our past locations so we were quite excited to do some Boulder scenery for this year’s shoot!  We had some gorgeous sunset light up at Chautauqua Park and I love the images we captured together.  Until next year, Gormans!

RiNo Denver Maternity Photos

Six years ago, I shot this banger couple’s wedding up in Beaver Creek.  This past weekend, I did their maternity photos!  Seeing families begin is the most rewarding part of this job.  I love documenting these milestones and can’t wait to meet Baby Foy.  Ashley + Brett, you are going to be the most excellent parents!  Cheers to you!

Family Photographers Denver

It is always such an incredible honor when a fellow photographer asks you to take their pictures!

(Even if it makes me slightly nervous…ha!)

What I loved about this shoot:

  • Um, hello…they brought their dog!  I think this may be the largest dog I’ve ever seen in my life.  I’m certain you could just jump on and ride off into the sunset with her.  She was such a sweet pup during the shoot.
  • The variety of outfit styles!  I love that everyone’s outfits complement each other without being super matchy-matchy.  They’re all unique in their own way but they look seamless standing next to one another.  Everyone looks fab!
  • Mom’s bangin hair + makeup styling!  Treating yourself to some professional hair and makeup isn’t just for brides.  I love that Emilyanne took the stress out of DIY hair and makeup on the day of the shoot.  It’s worth it!

Thank you so much to this wonderful family for having me along to do your photos.  I can’t wait for our next shoot together!

Denver Baby Photographer

Being able to add the job title of “Denver baby photographer” has been a blessing in disguise during the coronavirus pandemic.  Normally, I would really only market these types of shoots to past clients as my calendar was almost always packed full with weddings.  Now that I have an abundance of time on my hands as weddings postpone and downsize, I am so excited to explore this new niche of photography more!

For this particular shoot, I photographed my dear friends’ new bébé in my favorite Denver neighborhood.  Thank you so much to Hallie and Lindsey for having me along for this milestone in Kirby’s life!  Enjoy my faves from her session below.

Denver Family Photographer

I just love this cute little family.

Danielle and I met in college up at Colorado State University, back when we both worked as servers at the Red Lobster in Fort Collins.  I remember we bonded over our love of going out dancing and exploring the Old Town Square and all it had to offer.

It’s been so incredible to keep in touch with her over the years and to see her family grow. So far, I’ve photographed her engagement photos with now-husband Will, their Colorado wedding (one of my very first!), two cake smashes for their sons, Brady and Sawyer, and so many family shoots I’ve lost count.

This is the best part of being a Denver family photographer.  I get to see where romances begin and later bloom into families.  I get to see little humans get bigger and bigger every year and hear about their new hobbies and interests.  Most importantly though — I get to meet new pups (like little Hannah the Corgi below) when they’re added to the mix!

Thank you to Danielle, Will, Sawyer, Brady, Charlie, and Hannah for always having me take your family photos.  I’m so thankful to have clients and friends like you.  Can’t wait for our next shoot together this fall!  Cheers to this lovely, amazing family!
